Tunic

Monastic style tunic with a Benedictine style hood.  The hood has a shaper in it.  Length is as desired.

Monastic Style Work Tunic with Benedictine style hood.  Hood has soft shaper in it.  Length as desired.

Cloak

This cloak is available in white, off-white, grey, black and brown.  The cloak is designed as a pullover but may be ordered with a

Sleeve pockets, side pockets, stiffener in hood, traditional linear stitching in hood, self-lined capuche.
Hood on this habit a bit larger than usual.  Fabric is poly/wool blend (55/45) and is supplied by the Province.

Conventual Franciscan Habit  Made for Immaculate Conception Province OFM Conv.
Wool / Poly blend, side pockets in robe, left breast pocket.
Habit available in black.  Robe available with traditional or more recent version of pleats.

This habit was made for a member of the CHSB (Community of the Hermits of St. Bruno)

The garments made in our workshop are not costumes in the usual sense.  These garments are made according to the
patterns, methods and intention of habit makers through the centuries.   We assume the habits we make are used as
tradition intended and we take upon ourselves no obligations, moral or otherwise, in providing garments of such rich
tradition to those we trust will use and treasure them.

Currently we make habits for several mainstream Catholic Religious Orders and have been requested to make Reproductions
for the Heritage Rooms of Congregations of Sisters having no life sized model of a former habit worn by the Congregation.

We do not offer kits, yardage, patterns or directions.  We are not associated in any way with other purveyors or
manufactureres of religious items or garments.
